In Week 1 you built a page worth subscribing to. Now you need to get people to it. That's what this week is about — building the social media system that will drive traffic to your OnlyFans for as long as you're creating.

Most creators make one of two mistakes here: they either try to be everywhere at once and burn out in a week, or they pick one platform and put all their eggs in that basket. The right approach is 3–4 platforms, each with a specific role, running on a manageable schedule.

Choose Your Platforms

Not every platform is right for every creator. Here's what each one actually does for you:

  • Instagram: Best for building a brand. High engagement, visual-first, great for lifestyle/aesthetic creators. Harder to convert directly — it's a slow burn
  • TikTok: Best for rapid growth. The algorithm can put you in front of millions. Volatile — one video can blow up, the next can flop. Requires consistent posting
  • Twitter/X: Best for direct conversion. Low friction to post, easy to link, strong community for adult content. Smaller audience but higher intent
  • Reddit: Best for high-intent subscribers. People are actively looking for creators to subscribe to. Slow to build, but the best conversion rate of any platform
  • Pinterest: Best for long-term passive traffic. Pins can drive clicks for months after you post them. Underrated for creators who fit the aesthetic/lifestyle niche

Your Platform Mix (Pick 3–4)

  • If you show your face: Instagram + TikTok + Reddit (+ Twitter if you have time)
  • If you're faceless: Reddit + Twitter + Pinterest (+ TikTok if you can do it without showing face)
  • If you're niche/expert: Reddit + Twitter + Instagram (+ TikTok for reach)
  • If you have zero time: Reddit + Twitter only. Two platforms, done right, beat four platforms done poorly

Set Up Each Account

Every promo account needs to be completely separate from your personal life. This isn't optional — it's a safety requirement.

Account Setup Checklist (Do This for Each Platform)

  • Different email than your personal accounts and your OnlyFans email
  • Different phone number if the platform requires one (use Google Voice — it's free)
  • Username matches or is close to your OnlyFans name
  • Profile picture: Your best promo-safe photo — enticing but not explicit. This is your first impression on each platform
  • Bio: Hints at your OF without saying "OnlyFans." Examples: "my private page 🔗" or "link in bio for the full experience"
  • Link: Use a Linktree, Beacon, or Carrd page — never link directly to OnlyFans (most platforms suppress or ban direct OF links)

Landing Page Setup

Your Linktree/Beacon/Carrd page needs:

  • One clear button that says "My Private Page" or your creator name — this links to your OnlyFans
  • Your other social links so people can follow you across platforms
  • Optional: A brief line about what they'll find on your OF ("daily posts + 1-on-1 DMs")
  • Avoid: Multiple competing links, long descriptions, anything that creates decision paralysis

Define Your Content Pillars

Content pillars are the 3–5 categories of posts you rotate through on each platform. They prevent you from staring at your phone thinking "what do I post?" and they ensure your feed has variety while staying on-brand.

Universal Pillars (Work for Every Creator)

  • Pillar 1: Tease/Preview — Your best safe-for-work content that hints at what's on your OF. 20–30% of posts
  • Pillar 2: Personality/Lifestyle — Day-in-my-life, opinions, relatable moments. Builds connection. 30–40% of posts
  • Pillar 3: Value/Education — Tips, tutorials, behind-the-scenes. Attracts a different audience than your other content. 15–20% of posts
  • Pillar 4: Engagement Bait — Questions, polls, "this or that," controversial takes. Drives comments and algorithm push. 10–15% of posts

Adapt Per Platform

  • Instagram: Heavy on Pillar 2 (lifestyle) and Pillar 3 (value). Use Stories for Pillar 4. Keep Pillar 1 subtle — Instagram is stricter than most
  • TikTok: Heavy on Pillar 2 (personality/vlogs) and Pillar 4 (engagement). Pillar 1 should be 10–15% max — too much gets you shadowbanned
  • Twitter: Heavy on Pillar 1 (tease) and Pillar 4 (engagement). Twitter is the most lenient platform for adult content promotion
  • Reddit: Almost entirely Pillar 1 (tease), but framed as organic sharing, not promotion. Read our Reddit deep-dive for the exact method

Create Your First Two Weeks of Content

Don't wing it. Plan every post for 14 days before you start. This feels tedious, but it's the difference between "I post when I feel like it" (inconsistent, low growth) and "I have a system" (consistent, compounding growth).

The Content Calendar Template

For each post, write down:

  • Platform
  • Pillar (Tease / Personality / Value / Engagement)
  • Format (photo, video, text, carousel, story)
  • Content idea (1 sentence — what is this post?)
  • Caption/key text (draft the words)
  • CTA ("link in bio," "what do you think?," or none)

Week 1 Example Schedule

  • Monday: IG: lifestyle photo (Pillar 2) · TikTok: day-in-my-life vlog (Pillar 2) · Twitter: opinion/take tweet (Pillar 4) · Reddit: niche sub post (Pillar 1)
  • Tuesday: IG: carousel with tips (Pillar 3) · TikTok: storytime video (Pillar 2) · Twitter: tease photo (Pillar 1) · Reddit: different niche sub (Pillar 1)
  • Wednesday: IG: aesthetic story sequence (Pillar 2) · TikTok: GRWM video (Pillar 2) · Twitter: poll/question (Pillar 4)
  • Thursday: IG: tease photo (Pillar 1) · TikTok: value/tip video (Pillar 3) · Twitter: tease photo (Pillar 1) · Reddit: broad sub post (Pillar 1)
  • Friday: IG: behind-the-scenes story (Pillar 2) · TikTok: tease/try-on (Pillar 1) · Twitter: personal tweet (Pillar 2) · Reddit: niche sub post (Pillar 1)
  • Saturday: IG: lifestyle photo (Pillar 2) · TikTok: storytime (Pillar 2) · Twitter: tease photo (Pillar 1) · Reddit: 2 posts (Pillar 1)
  • Sunday: IG: value post or carousel (Pillar 3) · TikTok: day-in-my-life (Pillar 2) · Twitter: engagement tweet (Pillar 4)

Week 2: Repeat With Tweaks

Same structure, different content. After week 1, look at what performed best and do more of that. If your TikTok storytimes got 5x more views than your vlogs, shift the ratio. The calendar is a starting point, not a prison.

Batch Your Promo Content

Just like your OF content, batch your promo content. Don't create social posts one at a time throughout the day — that's a massive time waste.

The Promo Batch Session (2–3 hours, once per week)

  • 30 min: Plan next week's posts in your calendar (use Google Sheets, Notion, or even pen and paper)
  • 60–90 min: Shoot all the photos and videos you need for the week. Promo content doesn't need to be as polished as OF content — casual and authentic actually performs better
  • 30 min: Write all captions and schedule everything. Use the native scheduling tools on each platform, or a tool like Postpone or Buffer

This means your entire week of social media promotion takes 2–3 hours on a Sunday afternoon. The rest of the week, you just check in for 15 minutes to reply to comments and DMs.

The Cross-Platform Rule

Never post the exact same content to multiple platforms on the same day. Each platform has its own culture and algorithm, and what works on Twitter looks lazy on Instagram. Adapt the same idea for each platform:

  • Idea: "I tried 5 different ring lights"
  • Instagram: Carousel with photos of each setup, caption with tips
  • TikTok: 30-second video showing the difference, trending audio
  • Twitter: Thread with before/after photos and a ranking
  • Reddit: Single best photo with a conversational title

Same idea, four different executions. Each one feels native to its platform.

What to Track

After two weeks, you should have enough data to know what's working. Track these metrics (a simple spreadsheet is fine):

  • Posts per platform per week (consistency metric)
  • Best-performing post type per platform (content insight)
  • Link clicks per platform (the metric that actually matters)
  • New OF subscribers per day (the ultimate metric)

If Instagram gets you 100 likes per post but 0 link clicks, and Reddit gets you 10 upvotes but 5 link clicks, Reddit is 50x more valuable for your business. Optimize for clicks, not likes.

The Bottom Line

Week 2 is about building a machine, not going viral. Viral content is nice when it happens, but it's not a strategy. A strategy is: "I post 4x per day across 3 platforms, following my content pillars, and I track my link clicks to see what's actually driving subscribers."

Do the setup work this week. Create the calendar. Batch the content. Schedule it all. By the end of Week 2, you'll have a traffic system that runs with minimal daily effort — leaving you free to focus on what we cover in Week 3: actually getting your first subscribers.
